Sedation Dentistry
Our sedation dentistry services ensure your comfort and relaxation during dental procedures, providing a stress-free experience for anxious patients.
We offer multiple levels of sedation: nitrous oxide sedation, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation. We can discuss which option would be most beneficial to you if you request sedation.
- Nitrous Oxide Sedation (or “laughing gas”) is an in-office option for mild anxiety and most children if needed. This option for sedation does not require the patient to have a driver, and it will allow for the patient to resume normal, daily activities immediately after the appointment.
- Oral Conscious Sedation requires the office to call in a prescription for the patient. You will be given an advised schedule in which to take the medication for safe, optimal sedation while in the office. The patient WILL be required to have a driver to bring them to the office as well as to take them home to care for them until all sedation effects have subsided.
- IV Sedation is our deepest level of sedation and requires us to have a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist come to the office. The patient WILL be required to have a driver to bring them to the office as well as to take them home to care for them until all sedation effects have subsided.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Enhance your smile with our cosmetic dentistry solutions, including teeth whitening, veneers, and smile makeovers tailored to your unique preferences.
Cosmetic Dentistry is referring to the options that allow for a more esthetic appeal when desired. Crowns, bonding (using filling material), and even internal bleaching can be used to improve the appearance of your smile.
Crowns and Bridges
Restore the strength and appearance of damaged or missing teeth with our high-quality crowns and bridges, crafted for durability and aesthetics.
Dental crowns and bridges are fixed, custom-made prosthetics that restore damaged or missing teeth. This procedure generally helps maintain the tooth’s size, strength, shape, and appearance which improves function and aesthetics. Crowns cap individual broken teeth to strengthen a damaged, weak, or decaying tooth. However, bridges use surrounding, prepped teeth to support one or more artificial teeth, replacing any tooth/teeth missing between the two prepped teeth.
Dentures
Regain your confidence and ability to chew comfortably with our custom-fitted dentures, designed to provide a natural look and feel.
Dentures are a removable dental appliance for missing teeth. There are two types of dentures available—complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the upper teeth or all the lower teeth are missing, whereas a partial denture can be used when some natural teeth remain. Reasons for dentures include:
- To completely replace missing teeth in an arch
- To replace some missing teeth in an arch
- To enhance the smile and provide facial support
- To restore chewing and speech
Cleanings & Checkups
Types of cleanings and checkups include prophylactic cleanings, treatments of periodontal disease, periodontal maintenance cleanings, as well as periodic and comprehensive dental examinations.
Types of cleanings and checkups include prophylactic cleanings, treatments of periodontal disease, periodontal maintenance cleanings, as well as periodic and comprehensive dental examinations.
All examinations and prophylactic cleanings are essential components of preventive dentistry which is the practice of preventing oral disease to keep your teeth and gums healthy. A comprehensive examination can detect conditions before any symptoms arise. A visual examination followed by a full set of X-rays will be used to detect:
- Gum recession
- Gum disease
- Periodontal disease
- Weakened dental restorations such as fillings, crowns, or bridges
- Tooth decay and cavities
- Tooth deterioration due to bruxism, misaligned bite, or TMJ issues
Endodontics (Root Canal)
Save infected or damaged teeth with our expert endodontic treatments, relieving pain and preserving your natural smile.
Also known as a root canal, this procedure removes damaged or infected pulp/nerves. The dentist will clean and shape the canal, then seal it to keep the tooth from getting reinfected or having pain.
Fillings
Restore the structure and function of decayed or damaged teeth with our durable and aesthetically pleasing dental fillings.
Fillings are placed in the area where decay (cavities) have been removed and leave a void. Fillings allow for that void to be filled and the tooth to be repaired and restored to full function.
Teeth Whitening
Achieve a brighter, more youthful smile with our professional teeth whitening treatments, tailored to your desired level of whiteness.
Teeth whitening uses dental-grade materials and products in on-the-go, at-home, or in-office applications to break down stains and brighten natural tooth enamel.
Extractions and Wisdom Teeth
Expert extractions and wisdom teeth removal procedures performed with precision and care, ensuring minimal discomfort and swift recovery.
Extractions are when a tooth needs to be completely removed/taken out. Wisdom Teeth are often included in this category due to need of removal, but extractions are not limited to only Wisdom Teeth. Tooth extractions may be required for several different reasons which include:
- When one or more teeth are severely decayed
- When one or more teeth are broken and cannot be repaired
- When one or more teeth are poorly positioned in the mouth (impacted teeth)
- When there is advanced periodontal disease affecting the function and possibly causing pain or even mobility
- To prepare for orthodontic treatment when necessary and requested by an orthodontist
Mouth Guards
Protect your teeth from injury during sports or nighttime grinding with our custom-fit mouth guards, offering superior comfort and protection.
Mouth guards are often made for patients who clench or grind their teeth. This allows for the mouth guard to assist in protecting the teeth from wear as well as alleviate many negative TMJ symptoms.
Implants
Replace missing teeth with our state-of-the-art dental implants, providing a permanent and natural-looking solution for a complete smile.
An Implant is a titanium insert placed at the location of a removed natural tooth root. Implants provide a strong foundation for multiple restorative options. Please discuss with the dentist what you are looking to accomplish, and we can work together to determine your best course of action.
Pediatric Dentistry
Ensure your child’s oral health with our gentle and caring pediatric dental services, promoting healthy habits and a lifetime of smiles.
Noles Family Dentistry sees patients of all ages! We recommend that children be seen as soon as their first tooth is erupted in order to get them acclimated and most comfortable with the sights, smells, and sounds associated with being in a dental office. This first appointment at our office also allows for each child to get used to the entire dental team, so we can ensure the most positive dental experience possible. We hope to instill a confidence in each patient through education and understanding of home care and dental health while investing in a long-term dental relationship.
